I had the excellent fortune to work for one of Australia’s biggest shoe brands, in one of the country’s remaining shoe manufacturing plants. A rare opportunity I grabbed with both hands. Those valuable years took me to factories all over the world, and the incredibly skilled people around me taught me all about leather and how great shoes are made. By the time I moved on to my next position, I realised I was completely hooked....
So I took my passion for design, fashion and manufacturing to my favourite factory and created my own collection. The result is Kennedy Parker, a shoe brand focusing on stylish design, beautiful materials and substantial construction.
Personally, I have always loved investing in quality pieces that last. Instead of fast fashion and cheaply made things, I adore pieces designed with intention and flair, created with beautiful materials and constructed with comfort, experience and longevity in mind.
